PS3 has BluRay and a wider range of popular titles. That's about it tbh.

Xboxes committing suicide is a thing of the past. The newest slim Xbox is quieter than PS3 (and still a shitload cheaper). And Xbox can do 1080p as well (almost every game on both consoles still run 720p or lower though, most ~540p, then the console upscales it to 1080p for your telly).

Most of the other points above are subjective observations.

Lastly, Halo. Get a title on PS3 that has even *half* the community that Halo does then I'll be impressed

Quake 3 @ Xlan

Hey all,

I will be hosting some dedicated Quake 3 servers on my box that will be left up throughout the duration of Xlan.

I noticed quite a few people were playing the CorkScrew instagib mod last time, so I will run the mod on one of the servers.

So I was thinking the servers I would run would be:

1. Base/Vanilla Quake 3 FFA/DM
2. CorkScrew Instagib
3. Rocket Arena 3
4. Ultra Freeze Tag 1.6
5. CPMA - CTF/Duel/FFA etc

I think it would be cool to play some Freeze if we get enough players. I have included all the best maps that were played on the old Xtra servers in the maplist.

Any requests for any mods/maps to be run on a server?

Works fine for me, both a dl'ed version i tried and the steam version. Need to tweak the graphics and the shadows suck on some PC cards so turned mine off.

Also, multiplayer on PC is strange. Mouse and Keyboard is ok at best but the xbox controller has an autoaim at certain range making it pretty good/hax.

I picked up a 27" TV at a garage sale, and now I can finally play video games in my basement. So I hooked up my Wii & my 360, and I'm absolutely loving my Wii again. In my head, I kind of thought of the Wii has becoming a novelty, but after playing it again, I have to wonder why I thought that in the first place.

I really want to pick up Metriod & Mario, especially before Metriod M comes out (what ever the name of that game was).

P4SD Motherboard

Hi guys,

I have got a P4SD rev 1.09 motherboard which will not fire up. It has a hood lock and hood sensor on the board and also a lot of pins with security next to them. I am assuming that as I don't have this in its original case there is something that can be done with jumpers to override the chassis intrusion if that is what is preventing it starting. The power light is on but the processor fan will not start. I am also assuming that this board has a standard atx pin out.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

The first thing that you notice about the MSI Big Bang Trinergy Motherboard is the design of the board. Firstly the colour scheme of black and blue makes the board look amazing and tells whoever looks at it that this board is something to be reckoned with. The second thing you notice is the SuperPipe cooling system that utilizes a 8mm copper heatpipe to offer better cooling performance.

But once you have passed just how great this board looks you will see that the looks match the quality of performance. MSI have really outdone themselves on this board by packing it full of the latest and greatest technology to make your gaming the way it should be: amazing.

MSI have done this by designing the Big Bang Trinergy to use LGA 1156 Processors and then topped it off by adding Active Phase Switching. And for those of you that want some extra OOMPH the board has the OC Genie overclocking function (one of my favourite parts of the board) to make overclocking easier and safer for the rest of your system.

The Big Bang Trinergy is one of if not the best board I have ever used; nothing can be perfect when it comes to technology but this comes pretty close and has definitely earned the title of being the motherboard of motherboards. The only problem is, as I said, fitting the audio card into the board but thats an easily fixed problem.

What really excites me is that the only way MSI can go from this board is up and I cannot wait to see future products with the same power and the same awe inspiring design as that of the Big Bang Trinergy.
